What is the matter with Slumdog Millionaire?

Slumdog Millionaire is a 2008 Academy Award that wins British-Indian drama film directed by Danny Boyle, and co-directed by Loveleen Tandan, and written by Simon Beaufoy. It is an adaptation of the Boeke Prize-winning and Commonwealth Writers' Prize-nominated novel Q & A (2005) by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup. The film received the Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Director, along with six other Academy Awards.

Set and filmed in India, Slumdog Millionaire tells the story of a young man from the slums of Mumbai who appears on the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (Kaun Banega Crorepati, mentioned in the Hindi version) and exceeds people's expectations, arousing the suspicions of the game show host and of law enforcement officials.

Slumdog Millionaire was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and won eight, the most for any film that year, including Best Picture and Best Director. It also won five Critics' Choice Awards, four Golden Globes, and seven BAFTA Awards, including Best Film.

The film is also the subject of controversy concerning its portrayal of India, Hinduism, alleged persecution of minorities and the welfare of its child actors. Some people says that the Slumdog... exploitation of the poor.

Tha fact now, the Slumdog... players just like a dream magic. They are rich and famous now. But I think sometimes the exploitation needed. When the usual things doesn't work.

So.. The Slumdog Millionaire is real Millionaires... See the tralier below, make an opinion for me.

Is it something wright in aour society and religion? I doubt that.

He told how he and Chantelle, 15, decided against an abortion after discovering she was pregnant. PM Gordon Brown, PM of British refused to comment directly on the story but said it was important that the Government did all it could to prevent teenage pregnancies.

Alfie’s dad Dennis yesterday told how the lad does not really understand the enormity of his situation — but seemed desperate to be a devoted and responsible father. They found out about the baby when Chantelle was 12 weeks pregnant.

The World Cheapest Laptop From India

Could you believe that??

India will produce the world cheapest laptop in price about $ 10! or 500 rupees or £7.

The government-developed laptop is the latest in ultra-cheap engineering to emerge from the sub-continent. It is also the most ambitious attempt yet to bring the internet to the developing world and bridge the “digital divide” between rich and poor.

India has already given the world the 100,000-rupee (£1,450) Tata Nano car and a no-frills mobile telephone that costs less than 800 rupees.

The laptop that may be sold for less than the cost of a paperback book has been more than three years in the making.

The laptop is the result of cooperation between several of India’s elite technology institutions, including the Vellore Institute of Technology, the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore and the Semi-conductor Laboratory that forms part of India’s Space Department. Private companies are also taking part.

Source says, that this laptop will use for support of education in India. I think this move will very good if many country like China, Indonesia, Brazil etc follow that idea.
