Fearless Slovakia win in hard fought battle against Italy at the Ellis Park stadium on Thursday, June 24. Vladimir Weiss’ men knows no boundaries as they crushed the Italians, 3-2, in the group stage final round. Italy, which currently hold the World Cup title, were kicked out of the World Cup tournament.
Weiss said at a news conference that it was really fantastic day for them. He said that the team was under pressure but they have managed to take away their fears and they did all the best they can to advance to the next round.
Italy loses to Slovakia while Paraguay had a draw game with New Zealand. Azzurri ranked at the bottom of Group F and they were eliminated in the World Cup while Paraguay and Slovakia advances to the next round.
Former Champion of World Cup 2006, has lost now.
