Paul the Octopus signed off on Spain becoming 2010 Football World Cup Champions on Sunday night when they take on the Dutch in Soccer City, Soweto.
I think Spain have what it takes to put the brakes on the citrus express and claim football’s most sought after prize, and with psychic octopus Paul’s backing surely only a cataclysmic intervention can stop them. It’s all to play for with both sides desperate to lift their first ever world title. Expect high drama, moments of brilliance, exquisite aerial ballet and plenty of tears.
Paul also cast a vote in favour of Germany pipping the tournament villans, Uruguay to take 3rd place in Saturday’s play-off. The Answer was Maybe .... :)
