Joanne "Jo" Rowling, OBE (born 31 July 1965), better known as J. K. Rowling (pronounced /ˈroʊlɪŋ/, ROH-ling), is a British author best known as the creator of the Harry Potter fantasy series, the idea for which was conceived whilst on a train trip from Manchester to London in 1990.
The Potter books have gained worldwide attention, won multiple awards, sold more than 400 million copies and been the basis for a popular series of films, in which Rowling had creative control serving as a producer in two of the seven installments

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a 2010/2011 two-part epic fantasy film directed by David Yates, written by Steve Kloves and based on the novel of the same name by J. K. Rowling.
The film is produced by Rowling along with David Heyman and David Barron. The two parts form the seventh and final instalment in the Harry Potter film series, with the story following Harry Potter on a quest to find and destroy Lord Voldemort's secret to immortality – the Horcruxes.
The film stars Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, alongside Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as Harry's best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The film also features Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter and Alan Rickman.
Principal photography for both parts was completed on 12 June 2010 (2010-06-12). Part 1 was released in IMAX formats on 19 November 2010, and Part 2 will be released in 3D, along with 2D formats, in IMAX on 15 July 2011 (2011-07-15). The film will also be released with D-BOX motion code in select cinemas.

He ultimately discovers that Voldemort put a Horcruxe in him when he attacked him as a baby. The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 video follows the intriguing escapades of Harry, that finally culminate in his victory over Voldemort.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard is a collection of wizarding fairy tales. It was written many centuries ago.
Albus Dumbledore acquired the original copy of the book, written in runes, at some point. He bequeathed it to Hermione Granger in his will. It was given to her in person by Rufus Scrimgeour, who interrogated her as to why this particular book should be left to her, and what might be the significance of it. Hermione, having been raised on Muggle fairytales, had no idea, and simply answered that maybe Dumbledore thought she would like it since he knew she appreciated books.
At some later date, Hermione translated the book into modern English and published a new edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard. The edition, which was published to raise money for a children's charity, incorporated original notes about the stories written by Dumbledore some months before his death.

The books chronicle the adventures of the eponymous adolescent wizard Harry Potter, together with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, his friends from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
