James Patterson - Alex Cross Detective Series on ePub

Cross by James Patterson is the next book in Patterson's successful Alex Cross detective series. In Cross, Alex searches for "the Butcher," a ruthless killer who is linked to his wife's murder. Full disclosure: Cross is the first Alex Cross book I have read. Maybe if you are already attached to the detective, you will be able to ignore the shallow plot and underdeveloped characters. For me, however, it was work to keep the pages turning.

Alex Cross is six foot three, weighs 200 pounds, and is athletic. He still lives on Fifth Street in D.C., with wife, Brianna (Bree) Stone, Nana Mama, Ali and Jannie, and Rosie the cat. Damon is away at prep school in Massachusetts. He drives a Mercedes Benz R 350.
Education
PH.D. in psychology from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD. Special concentration in the field of abnormal psychology and forensic psychology.

Upon graduation Cross worked as a migrant farm worker for a year.

Another qualified novels from James Patterson.

Women's Murder Club is an American police procedural and legal drama, which ran on ABC from October 12, 2007, to May 13, 2008. The series is set in San Francisco, California and is based on the 'Women's Murder Club' series of novels written by James Patterson. Series creators Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain also served as executive producers alongside Patterson, Joe Simpson, Brett Ratner and R. Scott Gemmill. The latter also served as showrunner, with Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts co-executive producing. The pilot was directed by Scott Winant.

Produced by 20th Century Fox Television, the series first aired on Friday nights at 9:00PM Eastern/8:00PM Central. On October 31, 2007, ABC ordered an additional three scripts. The show was affected by the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike as only 10 of the 13 episodes ordered were produced.

On February 23, 2008, it was announced that the show would return in late April with three episodes; this came two weeks after the show was almost cancelled.[4] On March 31, 2008, it was announced that Women's Murder Club would return with three new episodes, beginning on Tuesday April 29, 2008 at 10:00PM Eastern/9:00PM Central, replacing Boston Legal. On May 12, 2008, ABC confirmed that the series would not return for a second season

Maximum Ride is a series of young adult science fiction and fantasy novels by American author James Patterson. The series chronicles the lives of six fugitive kids – Max, Fang, Iggy, Gasman, Nudge, and Angel – known collectively as the Flock. Bred in a laboratory called the School, they endured scientific experiments that rendered them 98% human and 2% avian.

In the first three books of the series, the Flock spends much of their time running from human-lupine hybrids created by the School called Erasers. Book 4 is mainly about the Flock rising against global warming, Book 5 is about saving Dr. Martinez while battling environmental pollution, Book 6 is about rescuing Fang, and Book 7 is about stopping the Doomsday Group from destroying the world's population. The books are divided into two sets: The Fugitives (books 1–3) and The Protectors (books 4–7). The series shares a few similarities with two of Patterson's previous books, When the Wind Blows and The Lake House.

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment
Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever
